Kids & Bees and Bee Buddies Programs
The Foundation for the Preservation of Honey Bees provides financial support for Kids & Bees Program and Bee Buddies, which are operated by Ms. Kim Lehman, edeucator-entertainer of Austin, Texas.
She conducts Kids & Bees programs in the cities when the annual North American Beekeeping Conferences are held. Those programs are designed in introduce grammar-school-age students to the world of honey bees.
Bee Buddies is a program that covers 43 U.S. states and three Canadian Provinces. If you have children, grandchildren, neighbors, nieces or nephews interested in being a Bee Buddy send two self addressed stamped envelopes and the requested information to:
